Rest is a command from God, not a choice (Exodus 31:12 -17). But ironically, the more we claim to know God, the farther we stray from leisure, and of course the more we are prone to abhor rest. And God chuckles.
You know what a sabbath law breaker fears ? – FAILURE ! He fears things would go bad while he rests. And God chuckles again.
The truth remains that if you lose rest, then you’ll sure have burnout, because you can’t possibly lose both.
