Kindness Hasn’t Got One Size

‘I would have given if I had plenty’. ‘My problem is that I don’t have much’. ‘What can a few coin purchase?, that’s all I can offer’….These are myriads of reasons why many don’t help. Whoever told them that kindness is like a dress or some pairs of shoes that they either fit or you drop them?

Hey, kindness hasn’t got one size! Give the little, the medium, the large, and the extra large that you can. What matters is that you give according to your ability, not grudgingly. Imagine the boy with the five loaves of bread and two fish, the Bible told us about, withholding them because he felt the quantity wouldn’t ‘fit’ the crowd.

‘I would have given if I had plenty’. Sister, just a little will go a long way.

‘My problem is that I don’t have much’. Brother, leave the much, give the little.

‘What can a few coin purchase?’ Says who? Even at that, few coins here and there make the million we are looking for.

And by the way, who told you that kindness is only about the cash in your pocket? How ready are you to render that service freely once in a while?

Remember, kindness hasn’t got one size. We all have our size there: you have yours, she has hers, he has his, and I have mine.
